The Giddy UP! story:
Originally made in the Shepherd kitchen as an experiment by the necessity of a great tasting hot sauce that would not fall victim to being a ‘wimpy’ hot sauce, while at the same time being a great tasting one! This was the result!! A ‘no-name’ sauce that was enjoyed until our friend JD (a man that is not afraid of any) decided to test it and put a generous helping on a chimi-changa. He immediately got the hick ups that didn’t seem to quit - the sign that he had met his match. When JD finally stopped hiccupping his comment was. “Giddy UP!”.
